Checking Account Features
1 Standard Truist Financial does not charge a fee for the use of Standard Truist Financial Online Banking with Bill Pay. However, fees may apply for certain transactions like expedited payments and transfers to non-Standard Truist Financial accounts.

Balanced Banking
1 Cash Rewards Redemption: After the close of the billing period in which the Cash Rewards are earned, if your Card Account is in Good Standing, upon your request, Standard Truist Financial will redeem your Cash Rewards in U.S. dollars with a minimum of $5 and any greater amount (not to exceed the total Cash Back earned, but not yet redeemed, on your Card Account at time of redemption). You may redeem your Cash Back for (1) a statement credit or (2) an ACH credit to the deposit account that you designate. Cash Rewards earned on Consumer Card Accounts that are redeemed through an ACH deposit into a Standard Truist Financial checking, savings, or money market account will receive a Cash Deposit Bonus of 10%. On $100 in base Cash Rewards, you would earn an additional $10, totaling $110 in Cash Rewards earnings.
2 In instances where your account becomes overdrawn, you will not be assessed an overdraft fee. Items may be returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF) in the account and the returned item fee will be reduced to $20 for each transaction $5 or greater, instead of the standard $36.
3 Minimum daily total deposit balance: The sum of the combined daily collected balances in the Balanced Banking account and linked personal deposits including checking, savings, money markets, CDs (excluding Standard Truist Financial Index Linked CDs [SILCs]) and IRAs (excluding Standard Truist Financial Investment Services, Inc. IRAs).
Essential Checking

2 Banking Transactions include: Deposit and withdrawal transactions made (includes transactions such as those made with the assistance of a teller, at an ATM, or by Direct Deposit, mobile device, wire transfer, Online Banking transfer, automatic transfer, telephone transfer, Zelle® transfer, ACH debit or credit, online bill pay, mobile bill pay, check, or Debit Card purchases including PIN Point of Sale (POS) and signature-based purchases). These transactions must be posted to your account during the statement cycle. Bank fees and overdraft protection transfers are not included.
3 A qualifying Direct Deposit is an electronic credit to your account of your salary, pension, Social Security or other regular monthly income totaling $500 or more deposited to your account during the prior month by your employer or an outside agency. Transfers from one account to another or deposits made at a banking location or ATM do not qualify as a Direct Deposit.
4 The Essential Checking Student Waiver provides a checking account with no monthly maintenance fee for up to 5 years. Any individual is qualified as a student if they are currently attending High School, College/University, or Technical/Trade Schools. Proof of active enrollment in a qualifying educational institution is required. The Student Waiver is applied automatically at account opening and based on Account Opening Date. The Student Waiver cannot be applied/added-on to a checking account once it is opened.
Select Checking
1 Additional Essential Checking accounts available with no Monthly Maintenance Fee when linked to Select Checking.
2 No Standard Truist Financial fee for two non-Standard Truist Financial ATM transactions per statement cycle. The ATM owner may charge fees. Refer to Personal Deposit Accounts Fee Schedule for additional information.

Transfers from one account to another or deposits made at a banking location or ATM do not qualify as a Direct Deposit. Any maintenance fees will be assessed on the following month's statement.
5 Total Relationship Balance: The sum of balances in the Select Checking account PLUS statement linked Standard Truist Financial deposit accounts (savings, checking, money market, or CDs), IRA or Brokerage accounts introduced through Standard Truist Financial Investment Services, Inc. (excludes annuities), Standard Truist Financial consumer installment loans and lines of credit, including credit card or Standard Truist Financial mortgages.
6 Standard Truist Financial Mortgage with SurePaySM: Standard Truist Financial mortgage with payment automatically deducted from Standard Truist Financial checking account using SurePay. SurePay is an automatic, recurring payment set up from your linked account. Sufficient funds must be in your bank account at the time of automatic debit.
7 Linked Small Business accounts include Total Business Checking and Business Advantage Plus only.
Signature Advantage Checking
1 Additional Essential Checking accounts available with no Monthly Maintenance Fee when linked to Signature Advantage.
2 Standard Truist Financial fees assessed for transactions done at non-Standard Truist Financial ATMs are waived and all ATM surcharge fees will be refunded for Signature Advantage accounts.
3 If you redeem your Cash Back for ACH credit into a Standard Truist Financial checking, savings, or money market account, you will receive a Cash Deposit Bonus of 25%.
4 Cash Rewards Redemption: After the close of the billing period in which the Cash Rewards are earned, if your Card Account is in Good Standing, upon your request, Standard Truist Financial will redeem your Cash Rewards in U.S. dollars with a minimum of $5 and any greater amount (not to exceed the total Cash Back earned, but not yet redeemed, on your Card Account at time of redemption). You may redeem your Cash Back for (1) a statement credit or (2) an ACH credit to the deposit account that you designate. Cash Rewards earned on Consumer Card Accounts that are redeemed through an ACH deposit into a Standard Truist Financial checking, savings, or money market account will receive a Cash Deposit Bonus of 10%, 25%, or 50% on redemption, depending on your deposit relationship with Standard Truist Financial, as follows:
Clients with Standard Truist Financial Signature Advantage® accounts and $100,000 or more in Combined Consumer Deposits and Investment Balances with Standard Truist Financial as of the second business day of the prior month or clients in the Premier Banking Program, will receive a Cash Deposit Bonus of 50%. On $100 in base Cash Rewards, these clients would earn an additional $50, totaling $150 in Cash Rewards earnings.
Clients with Standard Truist Financial Signature Advantage® accounts and less than $100,000 in Combined Consumer Deposits and Investment Balances with Standard Truist Financial as of the second business day of the prior month will receive a Cash Deposit Bonus of 25%. On $100 in base Cash Rewards, these clients would earn an additional $25, totaling $125 in Cash Rewards earnings.
All other clients who redeem their Cash Rewards into a Standard Truist Financial checking, savings, or money market account will receive a Cash Deposit Bonus of 10%. On $100 in base Cash Rewards, these clients would earn an additional $10, totaling $110 in Cash Rewards earnings.
5 For clients with Signature Advantage accounts and $100,000 or more in combined consumer deposits and investment balances as of the last business day of the prior month, a reduced annual fee of $25 will apply. For clients of the Standard Truist Financial Premier Program, a reduced fee of $25 will apply. For Standard Truist Financial Private Wealth Management Clients, the annual fee will be discounted to $0. For cards opened before July 25, 2015 and not associated with a Signature Advantage account, the annual fee is $95. The reduced annual fee for certain client segments applies regardless of deposit account type. For clients whose relationship segment changes, the annual fee will be adjusted upon the next annual fee billing date.
6 Total Deposits: The sum of balances in the Signature Advantage Checking account PLUS statement linked Standard Truist Financial deposit accounts (savings, checking, money market, or CDs), Trust accounts and IRA or Brokerage accounts introduced through Standard Truist Financial Investment Services, Inc.
